Day 7 – Monday 26 February
We’re very excited today. It’s when we move from the smallest pitch we fitted into when we arrived (only one available) to one of the larger ones and can at last unpack properly and get settled. As you can see from the photo our caravan didn’t exactly fit into the designated area, taking up half the shared access road. Our neighbours were very understanding and patient.
Over the three days that we’ve been here we’ve certainly become chatty with a few other campers. This was especially helpful today as Steve has been suffering from gout since yesterday (Sunday) and all our neighbours rallied round to help us move pitch. The sun was shining and eventually we were installed at #44.
During the move, for some reason, I was reminded of a song by Bernard Cribbins. Maybe you remember it too?
Although within sight of the Mediterranean from our original site, we are even closer at #4 and this is the view from our bedroom window. From now on, each night we go to sleep to the sound of the sea’s soft waves lapping on the beach and wake up to the same soothing symphony. Heaven
