Day 16 – Wednesday 7 March 2018

Benidorm has two main markets a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  We read the reviews that say the market is huge with many stalls displaying and selling similar merchandise, ie shoes, clothes, bits and bobs.  They were correct.  We didn’t buy much but it was fun walking round the Old Town and along the promenade of Playa de Lavante.  It’s not all English pubs and tourists seeking out cheap food and booze, although it looks that way.  You’ll see Steve did his best to blend in!  I’m looking forward to revisiting and spending more time in the Old Town and where the Spanish go.  Here is a selection of the snaps we took today.
